Storage and beyond

Available in 6-18m spans, the WiikHall KJ fabric building is designed for both robust storage and versatile functionality, suitable for industrial use and production facilities. The O.B.Wiik team is dedicated to providing you with the best solution tailored to your requirements.

Our fabric covers are manufactured in Norway and have received approval from Norway’s Fire Technical Laboratory (SINTEF).

They are known for exceptional tear and tensile strength, making them some of the most durable on the market. To assure their quality, these fabrics come with a five-year guarantee against production faults, ensuring long-term reliability in various applications.

O.B.Wiik’s relocatable buildings boast a self-supporting truss framework made of hot-dipped galvanized steel.

This construction technique ensures the buildings are lightweight yet highly stable. The use of galvanized steel not only provides structural integrity but also guarantees a long economic life, with the building maintaining its quality and high second-hand value for up to 30 years. These structures are designed in accordance with key Norwegian and EU standards, including:

  • NE-EN-1990 for reliability requirements
  • NE-EN-1991-1-3 covering snow loads
  • NE-EN-1991-1-4 for wind loads
  • NE-EN-1993 on the design of steel structures

Our buildings are engineered to withstand extreme climate conditions, ranging from -50 °C to +70 °C.

While maintaining a consistent external appearance, the core construction of each building is specifically tailored to local climate conditions, ensuring they remain functional and resilient in diverse geographic locations.

The anchoring system of our warehouses is designed for maximum safety and stability.

We use foot plates that are compatible with most surface types. In partnership with the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute, we have conducted extensive testing to determine the optimal use of ground spikes for direct soil anchoring. Furthermore, if there are any concerns about the firmness of the foundation, we conduct thorough on-site tests to ensure the stability and safety of the structure.
