Simple & rapid setup

The WiikHall NEX is designed for easy assembly without the need for specialized tools like cranes or lifts. Included in the delivery are all necessary tools and detailed instructions, allowing a six-person team to efficiently set up a hall in just one day. This ease of assembly is crucial in disaster relief and humanitarian aid situations, where time is of the essence.

Quick delivery for emergency response

O.B.Wiik maintains ready stock of halls for swift delivery, essential for UN, WFP, UNICEF, and NGO operations in emergency relief scenarios. A single 20′ container can hold up to 6 halls of 10×24 meters or 5 halls of 10×32 meters, ensuring rapid deployment to aid sites.

Versatile utility in disaster relief

The building are multifunctional, serving as storage for food and emergency supplies like blankets and water tanks, and can also be utilized as workshops, schools, or infirmaries. WiikHall NEX’s innovative design for aid efficiency

The aluminum structure of WiikHall NEX offers lower weight than steel, significantly cutting airfreight costs. Its cladding, weighing just 56 kg and spanning 4 meters, is easy to handle and install. Modular in design, the building’s length can be adjusted with interchangeable parts, and all assembly is conducted at ground level for safety. In case of damage, only the affected roof section needs replacement, ensuring quick and cost-effective repair. This hall’s design prioritizes safety, efficiency, and flexibility, making it an ideal solution for rapid emergency relief and humanitarian aid operations.

Technical specifications

WiikHall Model NEX with aluminium frame.

Framework: Anodized Aluminium.

Cover: White PVC-coated polyester fabric with UV protection.

One fabric folding door 4.5 x 4 metres (WxH) in each end.


Two air vents in each gable.

Wind load capacity: 0,68 kN/m2 (approx. 31 m/s) when the building is attached to the ground in accordance with the assembly instructions.

Snow load capacity: 0,75 kN/m2 when the building is attached to the ground in accordance with the assembly instructions.
